At BondPay, you have the right to delete your account at any time. This page explains the account deletion process, what happens to your data, and important considerations before proceeding.

2. Before You Delete

Before deleting your account, please ensure:

  • Your account balance is zero or you have withdrawn all funds
  • All pending transactions have been completed
  • You have cancelled any recurring payments or subscriptions
  • You have downloaded any transaction history or documents you need
  • There are no outstanding disputes or unresolved issues

3. How to Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion through:

  • Email: Send a request to support@bondpayng.com with your registered email address

You will need to verify your identity before we process your deletion request for security purposes.

4. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we will remove:

  • Your profile information and personal details
  • Your wallet and virtual card details
  • Your saved beneficiaries and preferences
  • Your app access and login credentials

5. What We Retain

In compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, we may retain certain information for a specified period, including:

  • Transaction history for financial reporting and auditing purposes
  • Records required for anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) compliance
  • Data necessary for fraud prevention and legal disputes
  • Information required by law enforcement or regulatory authorities

This data is securely stored and will be deleted once the retention period expires as per applicable laws.

6. Processing Time

Account deletion requests are typically processed within 7-14 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully deleted. During this period, your account will be deactivated and you will not be able to access BondPay services.

7. Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You will need to create a new account if you wish to use BondPay in the future
  • Deletion of your account does not affect previously completed transactions
  • Outstanding obligations or debts must be settled before deletion
